THE SEASON 1 SKILL JOURNEY

Across all eight missions, students progressively practice skills connected to the major areas of social-emotional development:

Self-Awareness

Recognizing emotions and understanding how feelings can influence choices.

Self-Management

Practicing patience, self-control, resilience, and healthy responses to frustration and disappointment.

Social Awareness

Developing kindness, empathy, respect, and awareness of the feelings and needs of others.

Relationship Skills

Practicing listening, communication, cooperation, friendship, and teamwork.

Responsible Decision-Making

Learning to pause, think, solve problems, accept responsibility, and make choices that positively affect others.

MORE THAN A STORY

Each Season 1 mission is supported by developmentally appropriate educational materials designed to turn the story's SEL concept into practical learning.

Depending on grade level and implementation, resources include Lesson Plans, Mission Cards, Vocabulary Cards, Roleplay Cards, Anchor Charts, Student Worksheets, Assessment/Check-Ins, Story Actions, SEL Wrap-Ups, Helper's Promises, Mission Certificates, Teacher Companion resources, and Family Connection activities.

The goal is not simply for students to watch a story.

It is for them to understand the skill, practice the skill, talk about the skill, and begin using the skill in everyday situations.

BUILT FOR K–2 CLASSROOMS

Season 1 uses a structured biweekly implementation model that gives teachers time to introduce each mission and reinforce its SEL skill before moving to the next learning experience.

Story Week

Students meet the characters, experience the mission, explore the featured SEL skill, participate in guided activities, and begin practicing the skill.

Reinforcement Week

Teachers revisit the skill through discussion, activities, roleplay, reflection, and real-world classroom application.

This structure helps transform each mission from a one-time video into an ongoing learning experience.

THE HELPER JOURNEY STARTS HERE

From learning to listen and cooperate to managing jealousy and disappointment, Season 1 gives young students a foundation of skills they can continue building throughout elementary school.

Eight missions. Eight opportunities to grow. One classroom of Helpers.
